Inclusion Housing

  • 9 December, 2016

Located in the heart of Burnley, Burnham Court is a new development of 12 attractive one bedroom apartments for individuals who require specialist, individualised, and person centred support including two accessible apartments for people with a physical disability.

The development has been a partnership between Lifeways, HomeLife, and Inclusion Housing. The apartments are spacious and close to the town centre and transport links. Fitted with assistive technology as standard, Burnham Court offers a range of devices that can be tailored to individual needs.

The Worshipful Mayor, Councillor Mr Jeff Sumner, attended the ceremony and officially opened the scheme on Tuesday 29 November 2016. Prospective tenants and their family members had the opportunity to experience the finished development, speak first hand with the team involved in the project, and to find out more about the service.

Jemima Taylor, Group Development Director of Lifeways, said:
“We are delighted to be part of such an exciting and innovative development. The facilities, opportunities, and support on offer at Burnham Court will provide each tenant with the confidence and independence to choose how they live their lives.”
